ACWA & Youth Scholarship

About the ACWA Scholarship

It is the mission of the American Chuck Wagon Association Scholarship Fund to provide financial assistance to those showing interest and promise in continuing their education in a collegiate or trade program. ACWA scholarships are awarded on an annual basis. Half the awarded amount will be applied the first semester and the other half the second contingent upon satisfactory progress. Funds are sent directly to the educational institution for each semester or quarter. The ACWA is proud to be able to offer assistance to deserving young people dedicated to furthering their education. The first college scholarship was awarded for the 2008/2009 school year. 2021-2022 ACWA Scholarship Recipients

The 2021 American Chuck Wagon Association (ACWA) scholarship winner is: Addison Jackson from Howe, Oklahoma.

Addison Jackson-ACWA Scholarship Recipient

She is the daugher of Justin and Janissa Jackson, owners of the Horse Pen Ranch Chuck Wagon. She is a 2021 graduate of Poteau High School in Oklahoma. She will be attending the University of Oklahoma in the fall majoring in pre-journalism and advertising along with a business health emphasis degree.

As she wrote in her bio, "I am a huge fan of the ACWA and there is nothing I love more than being a part of the vents my dad attends with our very own chuck wagon. It is amazing how this association keeps history going. I want to give thanks to ACWA for helping me further my education."
